Description
Artemis, the goddess of hunting, the forest, the moon, women, and children, is associated with the bow and arrow and the Kerynite Doe.
Artemis is revered as the goddess of hunting, the forest, childbirth, and the moon. As the patron goddess of women and children, she has always shown a special devotion to them. She and her twin brother Apollo are among the Olympian gods. Artemis is easily recognized by her signature bow and arrow, gifts from the Cyclades, marking her as a perfect markswoman who never misses her target. Often depicted as the mistress of animals, she is frequently shown with a hind, bear, or boar.
The play set includes the goddess Artemis with a wreath of flowers, her golden bow and arrow, and the Kerynite Doe.
